I've been watching, so far only Xw-20s and 20w-50s on clearance
QS All Mileage 5/10w30 or 10w40 or QSFS Euro 5w40
Running 5w30 Kirkland in mine for 5k oci. Have 207k on it and going strong
Dad ran ST 5w30 for like 3 years and 5k in their 05 F150.. still running just fine. Actually don’t think it’s been changed for two years right now I’ll have to ask. Seems like really high oci’s is what causes the issues.
Oh I forgot for easy changes is Havoline HM blend in the 6qt boxes. You can get 5/10w30 on walmart dot com for 2 6qt boxes for roughly $40 delivered to your home free. Very good deal, last time I bought it was $38 but I think it went up a smidge now.
Run synthetic 5W30 and dont look back.
