2007 Jeep Wrangler reliability vs TJ

Hi guys, wondering about the first year wrangler.

All things being equal, did they have any really standout issues?

I had an 05 TJ and it was solid as a rock.

Im looking at one with just over 100k miles.

I driven several of them, the TJ is superior in every way besides a slight nod to the 07+ in street driving comfort.

In the jeep world that first year of the 3.8 has a rep of being problematic. I was advised to get a 4.0 or jump to the 3.6.
