The Right Stuff. It works much better than regular RTV.

I would go with the grey for that. Black for sealing the corners of a gasket, grey for when the RTV is the gasket, ThreeBond for when the gasket won't ever have to release without destroying the pan.
 
Ford Grey RTV from the local Ford dealer. It was designed to deal with oil pan sensor leaks on the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel. It is insanely good.

+1. Or maybe Permatex ultra grey as it is probably about the same thing. Ultra black is also a good choice to seal oil for oil pnas and valvecovers.

Gray RTV .
Right Stuff is very good, but sits on shelves because it is so expensive and can 'dry out' in the can.
It won't apply right or dry right - I have had several with problems..
Very frustrating when you spend the larger amount of money!
