OBD1 scanners are useless at times on these cars.

Sounds like a hung choke, but since it is fuel injection it sounds like a coolant temp sensor. When the car acts up again, check the voltage across the battery. Flaky alternator can cause a car to run rough.

Yes computer sensor was changed this car has that ob1 scanner that very few have, another brain idea from gm to switch over to the ob2. It is temperature related for sure!


For what its worth I just went through the scanner problems with a 1995 Lesabre. Actron CP9185 scanned my car and would even give me some live data with the OBD I computer. Believe the Park Avenue is same configuration with OBD I computer and OBD 2 plug...
