I'm probably just gonna do it when it hits 0% on the monitor (around 8500mi). This wasn't my intent to run it this long but I'm not dissapointed with the results after viewing a bunch of other L83 UOA results.

Yes, their is a HPOP reservoir and it only holds no more than a quart. On my 7.3, I stick a tube into the external fill port and can suck out 24 ounces. there is a screen at the bottom that prevents sucking out the 8 ounces or less that the screen prevents the tube from reaching.

Try GMpartshouse.com next time. It is run by a guy named Gene Kelly out of a GM dealer in PA. He is very popular for fast shipping and good prices on OEM parts. I have used him and his service blows Parts Direct out of the water.

What concerns me is he doesn't truly understand how oil flows through an oil pump. He actually thinks the oil is squeezed through where the gear teeth mesh together.

Rotella 5w-40 synthetic will be perfect for you. It is a Group-III oil that will work fine with ARX.

Cummins N14 gets my vote. I have had BAD luck with Cummins ISX.

I currently have Pennzoil Platinum in my LS6 and will be using Ultra when I change it. I also, run a K&N oil filter. This car is only used for autocrossing and track days.

I prefer Delo over Rotella. My 1.5 million mile Cummins N14 even leaks less oil using Delo. It leaks the most with rotella. My Past UOA results seem to favor Delo too. I figure if 95% use of Delo can make this engine run this many miles and still not need an overhaul, it's doing something right.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the John Deere pressure Washers sold at Lowes are supposed to be good. I believe they have the Honda "GX" motor and good triplex pumps.
