Filters - Wix, Purolator Pure, Napa Gold, Amsoil?

Maybe stupid was kind of a harsh word on my part.....Maybe I should has used naive, as that would have been a much better adjective in this case. Before I make a contraoversial statement I try and read up on it and then state it as IMO or something similar. And if someone can find a way to spin...

AutoRx vs other Engine flush(es) (Frank and Gary)

Ok I have just read up on AutoRx and somewhat educated myself on it. Sounds to me that it is an outstanding product that is very well engineered. I have an 02 Mustang GT(4.6L), and I started using Amsoil in it at about 15K, I used the Amsoil motor flush prior to the Amsoil install. The oil in...

    Rain-X

I use the Rain-X All season winshield washer fluid. Its a bit more expensive than the blue stuff, but it works great IMO. No hassel of having to apply it, cause its just a press of a button away.Depending on where you live you may want the De-icer and bug remover. The all season stuff is great...

Extended OCI on 2007 Pontiac Vibe

If you want to extend your OCI then I would use Amsoil and follow Amsoil OCI's recomenned for the oil you use, with an EAA, and EAO filters(oil and air). Your warranty should be of no concern as there are laws that protect you as a consumer: Magnuson-Moss Act: Vehicle manufacturers recommend...

Yeah Buster I was using the ASL 5-30 until Amsoil came out with the 0-20. I always tossed aroung the TSO but thought it was too expensive. Now the SSO is out and I'm a bit more educated about oils, and the fact that I'm a dealer helps. I have been tossing around the idea of relocating the...
