A steam cleaner uses steam...such as: http://www.steam-cleaners-direct.com/ A hot water extractor uses water and its less that 212F, where as a steam cleaner operates at much higher temps.

You could try the Amsoil Engine Flush

Its fine, but Amsoil PI is better
