    Auto-RX Shocker!

You might want to think about an oversized filter such as the Purolator L14477 or PL14477(PureOne)(Wix 51396) for its 1/2" taller size. If you have some space around the circumference of the stock filter, then try the L22821 or PL22821 (Wix 51391). These have a 1/2" longer diameter and are 1"...

    How tight is too tight?

The 2002 Dodge Intrepid Factory Service Manual states that the oil filter in all engines of that year should be tightened to 12ft-lbs. Ever since I read that, I've been installing oil filters in my family and friends cars at 12ft-lbs with ABSOLUTELY no problems and/or leaks. They install and...

    '05 Corvette Recommendations Please

If I were you, I'd see if there is room for a slightly longer (3/4 to 1") filter. If so, then here is the order that I'd go with: 1) Amsoil EaO64 2) PureOne PL25288 3) Wix 51522 (Napa 1522) 4) Mobil1 (I don't know the product #) 5) Any other longer filter. If you want to look up other brands...

    Higher Engine Temp with Auto-RX

If I was you, I'd be happy that my engine is running hotter since ARX needs heat to be effective. The hotter your engine, the better ARX will clean. As long as it is not overheating, you'll be just fine. Hope this helps.

    This guy needs HELP!!

I found this on a site that I frequent because I also own an Intrepid. This guy's got a 2000 2.7L (a known sludger) and is changing out the timing chain, water pump, etc., but also wants to know what he should do to clean up the insides now that he's got it open and clean it even more once he's...

    LC as transmission cleaner?

6 oz. of ARX in Auto Tranny for 1000 to 1500 miles. Do a complete flush/exchange of tranny fluid. Put anywhere from 1 oz total to 1 oz/qt of LC in initial new tranny fluid with 1 oz maintenance doses at every 10,000 miles. This is what the LC bottles and website say. Hope this helps.

If AutoRX works so well- and so do bypass filters

I'd put this question in the bypass filter section. People there have more experience with those types of filters and it's the FILTER, not the ARX that seems to be the main focus of the question.
