Looks like the B-12 flush did some good. Might also be some carbon byproduct going past the rings if it's using that much oil. Most vehicles will also show some carbon deposits in the filter with short trips during the cold winter months.
 
Pretty much any Saturn of this era has coked rings. Accepting that, and keeping the oil topped off, these engines can last pretty much forever.

PS Linctex, where is that 50k mile Tough Guard?
