I had a boat trailer built a few months back, and all the builder could tell me was the grease for the wheel bearings was manufactured by Kendall.

The grease is red. I don’t want to mix greases to have issues.

What would most likely be the grease for my wheel bearings? Recommendations?

Thanks.

Typically if you use a grease around salt water, an aluminum grease is superior as the sodium in salt water will not interfere with the aluminum soaps.

Thanks krismoriah72.

Being that SHP is red I’m sure that has to be the one the builder uses.

Thanks again guys.

Recommend the "bearing buddies" on your hubs if you don't already have them
