That's what I was thinking. I have an '01 Civic with 315k miles on the original coils.

Ignition coils do degrade overtime even though it maybe slight and testing them against factory specs is really the only way of knowing
But at 18 years and 315K miles you may want to concider replacing before they die. My experience with coils is they usually go out with not much warning and your stranded on the side of the road
