But, in the end, I didn't buy the GX. I was just about to and prepping for what I'd need to do when the PPI revealed a bunch of problems.
I did end up buying a 2006 LS430. So I'll make a new thread about that one. Sorry to everyone who took the time to respond--I hope the next person buying a GX will find all of this useful.
