(NEW) STP S3675 Cut Open

Opened up a $5 blue can STP. Thick-walled canister. Very well built but half the media as the same-spec Wix. No real reason not to run one aside from it being Hecho en China.

That's a good looking filter.
I like the even pleat spacing. Construction reminds me of a Premium Guard filter.

Yep, standard STP blue that was long made by Champ Labs for majority AZ stores, now gone. Completes the change over of all AZ STP OFs to majority China coo. I note for information purposes only that efficiency listing no longer on box. Looks to have decent construction. Reminds me of the previous AAP Driveworks spin on OF line anecdotes, same coo.

Previous Champ S3675 an ecore, however since this application has no filter bypass, just nitrile adbv, no combo valve.

Everything looks nice, but the face end of the thread seems to have burrs. May be, in reality this is not critical, but nevertheless it spoils a little bit overall perception of high quality.
