'03 Hyundai Santa Fe "Long Life" USED Fuel Filter 140k Teardown

Hi all,

Decided to change the in tank fuel filter for my car today and I dissected the old one. It has a strange kidney looking filter. Supposedly, this filter is a long life fuel filter. The way I see it, it'll last until it burns out the pump lol.

Oh man, I had an 03 Santa Fe. Still seeing nightmares of a leaking transfer case sometimes. Hope you have a better one.

Mine doesn't have a transfer case, but I've heard horror stories about the ones that do! Apart from drinking gasoline and the A/C compressor going out this year, it's been reliable and has never left me stranded.
