It never fails that with a new year comes the mistakes of writing the wrong year a few times until it sinks in.

How about you guys?

If you work in the medical field, just think how many crossouts/dates you will be making.

I do it less than I used to, even though I'm old, because I only write about six checks a year these days.

I feel that I do better now that I'm older. When I was younger, I'd always find myself accidentally writing the previous year, but not as much now. Maybe I've slowed down and my brain has caught up with my writing? Or that it's been so many years now, I never really know what year it is anymore, so I have to think about it.

Uusally only a couple days. Once I get to work, I find that after about two days I've adjusted--but that is because I tend to write down the date several times a day.

For some reason, I don't typically write the wrong year down. I see people do it all the time though.

Thank god it's 2017...
