Has anyone here ever made a warranty claim with an oil company that offers an extended warranty with thier oil, such as Mobil 1 or Valvoline? And how did it go?

Anyone can make a claim, getting them to PAY OUT is another matter.

You will find a unicorn or a truthful politician first before finding anybody that has gotten a payout from these programs. Simple fact is to many hoops or escape clauses to be relied upon. They are 99.9% a marketing trick because in the real world, oil related failures when both correct grade, interval and specification was followed, are rare as hens teeth.

The correct wt, OCI, and spec of an oil, will most likely never cause an engine failure. Now abuse of the engine is another thing.
