ACDelco non ecore PF48 a good filter?

Reason I ask is because my walmart has a ton of non ecore PF48 filters which is the size for my yukon. I picked one up along with pennz ultra. Just wondering if it is a decent enough filter? I looked and the PF48 were the only non ecore acdelco filters they had.

I've been running them on my Jeep Patriot for a couple years. Good solid filter. I got a half dozen sitting here

In the past, AC had half again more media than after market brands. I am not sure how much that means, but if the price is right, go with them.

Use it and be thankful they haven't starting building an e-core version yet.

nothing wrong with the ecore versions, use ecores on my silverado for up to 7500 miles with the olm.

Use them on our 2010 Traverse (still have steel center cage. not an ecore yet) .

Failures are much less common than one would think reading this board. Likely no worse than anything else.

Any filter that passes SAE tests is a quality filter. I have been using many filters from various manufacturers for the past 29 years that I have been driving. I never had an oil or filter related problem.
