Here is a quote from a recent article

" You can also think of an additive like a drug, it's got beneficial properties and side effects. If you push too hard on one property, it's going to hurt you somewhere else."


I have found that to be true in other products and I wondered about that. Pennzoil I believe says that PU cleans 35% better than it's next best oil and the next best oil cleans 46% better add them together that seems to be a huge increase in that direction. I would think adding that much more on the cleaning end would affect some other area.

change 35% to a decimal u get .35 times someother number like 60 for instance and u get 21. So what does that really mean to u and me,,I wonder what they base this reasoning on,,,35% of what number and u get what, u really have nothing to work with u see...It fits rite in there with the Snake Oil term..except its Snake Mathamatics. could they tell us it cleans one pound of junk out of the engine, no, the only way is by an oci sample.So watch those percent cleaner then this and that ads
