Wix 57302 - bad changes

I don’t really care where wix is made, it doesn’t make them a bad filter. If you don’t like how a filter looks, put it back and pick another one up.

NAPA Gold. Different application, the 1516 is made in USA. The 1394 is made in mexico (if i can recall correctly, the one i installed in my last OC is made in USA.)
Both looks good to me, the only difference is the ADBV in the 1516 has a "parker" marked on it. The ADBV in 1394 doesn't show any and somewhat shiny compared to the 1516's.

I use made in Mexico without even thinking

I love them wix . But around here it’s at $8 price range . I remember back then there a web site you can get 2 Napa gold for $10 . Must buy 2 and free shipping . Most of BITOG bought from that site . I forgot the name , I don’t think it exist any more . Back in 2008-2013

I have about 7 USA made Napa Silvers (made by Wix) in my garage. The ones I have, you can see the quality in each oil filters & they're heavier compared to the Mexican made Wix
NAPA filters are made by Wix and I doubt there's no difference in material or construction between the except for the labels.

My 2¢

I cut this filter up. at the auto parts store it is often the only option other than the STP ecore or the fl2021, i’ll cut that up next oil change.

I also have the microgard 51228 and the bosch premium 3978 somewhere
