Who will be buying a Chromebox?

I'd be more interested in the hacks the community develop for it, i.e. loading MacOS X or something like that.

May need more room..

Assuming you'd stay with Chrome OS, what tools are out there to remote desktop into this thing? Chrome Remote Desktop? Is there anything else out there?

Where's the benefit of using this thing? I assume it comports well with Google sourced browsers ...or what?

It's a computer which attaches to a computer? Kira

It is a computer. You attach a monitor, keyboard and mouse to the little box and you're set.

The OS runs the Chrome browser and all the extensions available for it. Perfect for someone that does everything through a browser, no worries about viruses and not much to go wrong!

It's a Chromebook, w/o the book. 2GB RAM is a bit too little for my tastes, 4GB would be better.

Other than that, this is a good web surfing kiosk for kids and folks that aren't into computers much.

I was thinking of plugging a few USB 3.0 portable drives into it and using it as a NAS. Its energy consumption footprint should certainly be less than a typical desktop PC, which is what I'm currently using for that purpose.
