The donation page is accessed on the left, below the most recent posts and new members section. Click on the button that says Donate.
Unfortunately, they are still going to show you the ad after you donate. Someone whose post in this thread disappeared, told me how to block the element in UBlock Origin, that shows the ad. Since I did that, I don't see the ad.
