This thread just took a very quick turn to grindr level
It would be difficult for any eCore filters to be from the 1980's since Champion Laboratories launched the eCore technology in 2004.

I personally can't read the date code in the photo posted, but those are from the recent Frampion period, when Fram and Champion Laboratoties had a common owner.

I did a Google search entering When were fram fp oil filters made and found a web site. I think those fram FP oil filters were made in the 2000s like 2001 and 2002. My friend thinks they were made earlier then that. I can't post it because they say bad words in it.

Take a clear photo of the date code and post it. That will tell the story.

Fram Pro filters were first released in 2014. At that time they included the Fram Pro Plus, installer equivalent to a TG.

The Frampion relationship dissoved in 2016.
That sets the upper & lower bounds for the manufacturing date of the filters pictured. Reading what's actually printed on them would remove all question on that topic.
