What synthetic resists heat/sludge the best.

Any quality synthetic will be more resistant to heat/sludge. M1, Pennzoil Platinum, Valvoline SynPower, Castrol Edge, Havoline ProDS, etc...pick your poison. A quality syn with OCI's of 5k or less and you will likely have no issues.

Is it difficult to surmise I was letting to OP know the only significant performance difference between GTL and PAO is Artic extremes and both are nearly equal in performance at high temperatures.
