I usually like mine in the middle position. I also usually have it pushed in.

Seriously I miss my Lincoln's auto wheel.
Turn off the car and it goes up to let you out.
That was a 2006 LS V8

My buddy has a Mercedes SL 500 with the preset driver settings. # 1 is his normal driving position. # 2 is set to make it easy for him to get out of the car. (wheel up and seat way back etc)

Yeah that was the same as my car. Great feature!

My Tauruses had a spring loaded lever on the column below the turn signal lever. Very easy to operate. On both my Hyundais they have a pull out lever under the column. PITA and I don't use the tilt on either Hyundai.

Lowered enough to be comfortable but not hindering my view of the dash gauges. I'm not obese so I don't need to raise the wheel to enter and exit.

I like my steering wheel set so the bottom edge of the top of it is right at the top of the gauge cluster.

lol
Not obese. Did you ever notice some people drive jammed into the steering wheel?
Not smart but many short thin people do that.

+1,also on most vehicles I like to pull the wheel all the way back- long legs.

Who knows? It was set the day we got the vehicles and forgotten, top of wheel not obstructing gauges I think. Wife doesn't know or care. Never could figure how putting it up makes it easier to get out.

Lots of fellas my dad's generation would slam the wheel all the way up every time they got out because well they paid for it and they were gonna use it. One of my friends does it to this day, because his dad did.

I have seen quite a few women who drive like that, more than men.

I could do without a tilt wheel all together, because EVERY car/truck I've ever had has been in the straight position, which feels normal to me. BTW, you ask way more questions than all 5 of my little grandkids.

Yes I do. Thanks for noticing. It gives people a chance to interact and share their opinions even if they aren't car experts....

Steering wheel position is a preference.... not an opinion.
