I remember the tilting wheels of the 60s and 70s as being more of a "feature" of the car versus the way they're integrated today. A tilting and telescoping wheel of today is a plasticky non-event in it's operation, where there was almost drama in some of the old designs.

Most steering wheels today are almost identical across all makes. The individual controls may differ slightly but the 3 spoke T wheel seems ubiquitous.

There weren’t too many tilt wheels in the sixties but lots of nice touches such as chrome horn rings.
