I know there is a secret hand-shack that allows someone to see the remaining oil life percentage on the GM OLM. You had to do several things (like turn the ignition on-and-off a few times than flick the high-beam switch a few times, than push a button on the radio - or something like that), and then a bunch of number would appear where the odometer numbers are displayed. you could toggle through the % remaining on the OLM, total engine hours, average MPH (not MPG). I learned about it on the Chevytalk website many years ago, but I cannot find it now. I am not referring to the button you can push, usually on the steering wheel, on the DIC on newer cars. This secret hand-shack came on some vehicles from mid 1999 to around 2004-6.
Does anyone know the procedure, I forgot it?
