What happened at Chevron?

I saw a recent TDS on the Havoline Pro DS synthetic 5w30 and I noticed some changes from before. It is a tad thicker at 100c than it was before and the pour point has gone from -45 to -27. It used to have really nice cold cranking numbers and I was looking forward to using it for the winter but I think I'll be using Mobil 1 0w30 instead.
 
It still has great CCS number... 4,000 at -30 is really quite good. Max at that temp is 6,600.…. And When tested by PQIA only Pennzoil and Amsoil have a lower CCS than Havoline Pro DS...

Yeah they do make their own base oils.. Plus Oronite is in house additive supplier...

They sell grp 2/3 base stocks to others...And they make their own add paks (Oronite)
