What do i need to fix my air compressor input line?

Once you determine what threads you need at either end, the sky is the limit. There's tons of braided metal flex lines available online:

This ought to give you the jitters...

Ford had some funky connector on the PS pump output/high pressure line. Once removed a new valve and Teflon seal and skills to install. None of which I had. So I took it out, tapped out for a 3/8" hose barb and used steel reinforced hydraulic hose with worm clamps. The other end I used a barb mated to a brass compression fitting on the steel line. Worked great and never leaked.

Once you tighten the worm clamp down over the steel reinforced hose you practically have to destroy the hose to get it off the barb.
