Has anyone ever used this with any success on engine bay electrical plugs or even interior electrical connectors?

Just wondering if it compares favorably to the CRC cleaner on the parts store shelves.

Thanks

Yeah, I had a small can of de-ox-ID in the maroon spray can from 10 years ago and it worked good but left that oily residue which isn't ideal under the hood, and the can finally developed a microscopic leak that escaped all the propellant with product still left inside. Maybe the updated version is better. The WD-40 seems like a good alternative for a few bucks less. I think I roll the dice on it and report back.
