Pleased that the owner was there, and happy to talk about his car. He got it in poor condition, still sporting the original 250 inline-6.

He's now installed three engines - a 327 followed by a small-block 400 followed finally by the keeper - a 396. I wish I'd gotten a photo, but think the engine badges on the front fenders are for the 327.

It's a 67. Round turn signals and no side marker lights. Those came out in 68

Thanks! My wife and I were out for a walk when we (I) saw the Camaro. I'm often on my bike. Either way, easy to stop and get a photo.

Hidden headlights were part of the RS appearance package option for first-gen Camaros.

Plus the neat "open"cowl induction hood. YET, There is almost nothing like hearing and seeing any 1970 Chevy with the cowl induction door when it leans open and you hear that engine start pulling fresh air! Zooooom..................... I said almost because any Mopar with the "Air Grabber" hood could make you soil yourself too.
