Oh my goodness this is terrible. You paid $5K and looks like you were taken and with this damage it is obvious that your truck is on borrowed time.
I kind of feel sorry for you about this so I will take it off your hands for $1K and take that ticking time-bomb off your hands.

On every car I've owned, if it had an open grille design, I placed 1/4-inch hardware cloth behind the grille and ahead of the condenser. This is to stop any rocks that can take out the condenser.
