Turmeric - any users ?

Incorporate garlic into your dishes and take it as a supplement up to 2000 mg daily. Of course, Omega-3 acids including alpha linoleic acid (Plant based), Cholecalciferol (An active form of Vitamin D), and Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) will help keep the inflammation in check and will definitely relieve some pain.
Olive oil is the gold standard, so do not skim over this one. This is an old prescription for inflammation in ancient Egypt Lol: Garlic and olive oil. Trust this one, they knew better about medicine than we do now.

Hey - appreciate the input. Nothing magical about supplements, as they are going to have a wide variety of results for people

I bought a 2 month supply of Bio Schwartz. Spent some time looking at Amazon reviews, then found this brand listed on an independent review as their #2 choice.

So for 26.00, I'll give it a shot. I always temper my expectations w/ supplements, but the price is worth a shot. If I remember, I'll post up after 30 days.

Curcumin with pepperine certainly helps with reducing inflammation caused by exercise. So does ashwaghanda.
Had a friend tell me how one of her client's knee pain improved dramatically, using Turmeric (she needs knee replacement).

I'm in the same situation - facing L knee replacement, but postponing it until summer. Currently been taking Osteo Biflex for about 2 years.

Looking for info on particular brands, that have been helpful. Like any supplement, it's a chore weeding through all the options.

TY
As long as there's only inflammation it can work well. It helps me with recovery after exercise by reducing muscle inflammation. Ashwagandha is also helpful. Thymoquinone, found mostly in black cumin, is another natural anti-inflammatory. Anti-inflammatory supplements can work well but if you are on an inflammatory diet you may as well not even try it. I love Indian food. Lots of turmeric in it.

Long time student of natural remedies...

In my reading, I have found research that shows a reduction of testosterone and reduction in sperm count. I used to take it as I struggle with arthritis from many years of heavy weight training...but I stopped due to the effect it can have on vital hormones that can improve recovery, and help my joints feel better.

The levels of androgens in LNCaP decreased with 24 hours curcumin treatments in a dose‐dependent manner. Testosterone level decreased from 1.19 ng/g (control without curcumin) to 0.76 ng/g (10 μmol/L curcumin), 0.63 ng/g (25 μmol/L curcumin) and 0.33 ng/g (50 μmol/L curcumin;

I have very flat and wide feet so good fitting shoes are a must.

Why does the size and arch characteristic of your foot dictate the need for a good fitting shoe?

I think EVERYBODY needs good fitting shoes for best quality of life...the size/shape/arch only makes you choose one style over another.

Yes because I clearly said I was the only one who thought I needed good fitting shoes. 🤫

You’re a fool.

Apologies, please let me re-state my comment in the form of a friendly question.

Why does the size, shape, and arch characteristic of your foot help you make the argument that good fitting shoes are a must for you?

eg. - I drive a short wheel based, narrow rimmed car - good tires are a must!

I just don't understand your statement. Good tires are good for everybody on the road, just like good fitting shoes are good for everybody.

It might be more influential if you commented on how many hours a day you were on your feet, or how far you walk, or maybe something strenuous you do that taxes your feet/stability.

I don't mind the negative jab, as I could have been more careful in the wording of my post, and I don't think you are a fool and I won't call names, I am just trying to understand your argument. I too have very wide and flat feet, and making the right shoe selection is super important for the amount of exercise I do, but my bride has narrow, high arched feet...and her shoe selection is just as important.
