For food every morning at 6:30 on the way to work I eat a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant biscuit. At 12 for lunch Ill have a sandwich and chips, and when I get home at 4 Ill eat dinner.(whatever the wife makes and I eat a lot cause I'm starving lol)I dont eat after 7pm If I do Ill have bowl of cheerios or special K(wife's

). Now I know the key to losing weight is all on how and what I eat. Should I been eating more or less? If so what? I dont know any good meals or snacks I can eat to help lose weight. Just any pointers or tips to help out thanks

My wife and I did weight watchers a couple years ago. If you don't cheat it works extremely well. If you can't stop yourself from nibbling when you go through the kitchen, then don't spend your money on it... Sticking with it to the letter is very hard to do, but if you do the weight will fall off...

Have two children one that is 2.5 yrs old and one that is 9 months old, work all day, and have wife work in evening. The weight flies right off. Warning: this method generally results in higher blood pressure.

Speed up your thyroid that worked for me not intentionally 61 pounds in a month and a half i started to look like an old man my skin was hanging off me...I am now 6ft 210 and in good shape
My heartbeat was missing beats and then going super fast i ended up having a valve repair (Thank God i have a good friend that is a cardioligist... Im ok now
Skinny is not what is cracked up to be there are bones that you find that you never knew you had

No pop, lower calorie intake, NO Fast food, try organic, excersize 30minutes a day. 20lbs gone in no time.

My wife lost 26lbs on HCG diet in 1 month. My father in law lost 35 in 1 month also with HCG and it stays off

Change your diet or it's going to be very hard to lose the extra pounds. You really can't be eating sausage egg and cheese on a croissant for breakfast, then chips for lunch, etc., and expect to lose much weight. Get over to your local library and pick up the original Body for Life book, that guy knows what he's talking about. Good luck :)

I'm 5'10", weighs in @ 162lbs currently. I was warned by my family doc that if I don't work out to burn some serious calories (fat, etc.), my high blood pressure gonna kill me eventually and so I heed his advice and started getting back to playing squash after 15+yrs of absence (and that was last year). Now I clocked about 4.5hrs a week burning approx. 1000calories/hr on that (playing with borderline classC/D makes me runaround like crazy.

Oh yeah: I also lost 3 inches on my waistline (now 31")

Q.

Get yourself a box of Alli and take them as directed. You will change your diet to a less fatty one of your own accord. Running is good, but run harder for a shorter distance one day and then longer with less intensity another day so your body doesn't get used to what it's doing.

What worked for me was lifting free weights. It put on muscle and muscle burns calories, then you don't have to starve yourself and you can eat like you want.

I am down over 10 pounds since the first of the year. I also managed to plateau over Thanksgiving and Christmas, so it is 10 pounds less than before the holidays. It was rough tonight at an ''all you can eat fish and tenderloin fry''. I am just managing to eat less. At home it isn't to bad, but too many carry ins and buffets.

Does the Alli stuff work? I saw a commercial for it, so I was thinking about using it. The only downside to me is that its expensive and I had a bad experience with another diet pill back in 1999 (metabolife).

Get rid of the wheat, corn and high fat dairy. The wheat and corn are useless calories which do nothing for you but make you want more useless calories. Dairy should be easy to get rid of, unless you are addicted to it, in which case that should be on a priority equal to the exercise.

You will go nowhere until you start getting the high fat foods out of your diet. The advantage of doing that is that eventually you just don't want them anymore - your taste buds get used to not having them, then when you do, they seem too "heavy".

You encountered the paradox of exercise for weight loss. You work out like a maniac and your routine burns a ton of calories, but then it makes you so hungry you eat those calories back. You burn 700 calories in an hour of running but you're so hungry you eat a croissant with cheese and sausage -- you gained 500 calories back in 5 minutes. You have to gradually wean yourself off these calorie-dense foods. Do it by reducing your fat intake slightly week by week. Eat the croissant with sausage but no cheese; after a while, replace the croissant with regular bread. You want your taste buds to adapt to the new diet gradually. If you modify your diet too suddenly, you'll crash and give up.

Keep a detailed calorie log of every meal and every snack too.

There's nothing wrong with whole wheat. It has a lot of fiber and is good for you. Corn isn't bad either it it's fresh and you don't add a stick of butter to it

First, have your thyroid checked. You won't lose weight if your thyroid is under active. There are a lot of people who have difficulty maintaining a healthy weight because of thyroid issues. It's not as simple as counting calories-there can be a lot of other factors at play, the thyroid being one of them.

That's a good start, but you need to mix up your workout. Do some cardio such as running, as well as weights, biking, swimming, etc.

You aren't going to lose any weight on food such as that. Consider the following:

Breakfast
2 turkey breakfast sausage patties (150 calories), one egg (70 calories) and a slice of wheat toast with a little butter (100 calories). Water or a cup of coffee to drink (no sugar or creamer).

Low sodium, low calorie, low in fats, low carb and low sugar, and you'll get your protein craving satisfied.

Lunch
A sliced turkey sandwich on wheat with yellow mustard. Toss in an orange, apple or pear and a glass of water.

Again, low sodium, low calorie, low fat, quality carbs. Somewhere around 300 calories.

Dinner
Fish, chicken, or pork, along with a vegetable with a glass of water or small glass of milk. Keep the dinner to around 600 calories and go for healthy, low fat low carb foods.

Snacks
A handful of nuts once or twice a day (cashews are my favorite). A piece of fruit such as an apple is very filling.

Liquid
Drink lots of water throughout the day. It's not uncommon for people who aren't taking in enough water to feel hungry rather than thirsty.

In my example I'm eating a lot more than your example, but probably taking in fewer calories. I'm taking in foods that help boost my metabolism and I'm staying away from white flour, white bread, refined sugars, bad carbs (like chips) and empty calories such as pop or candy. It's a much more balanced approach than your example.

Do yourself another favor-don't diet. Change your lifestyle. Fad diets, weight watchers and similar programs don't work for one simple reason-you're not changing the reason why you put the weight on in the first place. Unless you want to stay on the fad diet or eat weight watchers food for the rest of your life they simply don't work.

Remember-unless it's a lifestyle change you'll fail.

Good luck.

Ephedrine is the only way that truly works. It'll suppress your appetite which is the key to putting down the ole fork.
Too bad there's media hysteria about it...

Why not simply learn self control rather than mask a problem with a drug? Unless you're planning to use the drug on a permanent basis, once you stop the drug the appetite issue comes back.

Losing weight and getting healthy is a lifestyle commitment, not a quick fix with a pill.
