Toyota recalls 96,000 Corolla Cross' for airbag issue

Toyota has announced that they are recalling 96,000 Corolla Cross' in the US. The recall affects 2022 and 2023 non-hybrid models. The recall is for the passenger airbag, there seems to be a defect that could prevent the airbag from inflating correctly...

The ones made in Japan are the hybrid models and not subject to the recall.

80,000 miles.
It works perfect for me and my job.
33.5 mpg overall.
On High Performance Lubricants Premium Plus 0W8 motor oil.
My conditions and UOA results with this state of the art oil allow for greatly extended OCIs.

I was watching a technical video on the Cross on youtube the other day. Many parts borrowed from earlier version RAV4, especially AWD components.

Very simple car and well built. 8 fuel injectors, GDI and MPI.

I think it will be a very good car. Looking at getting one for my wife. She wants an LE model as the L does not come in blue she likes.
