Today I gave the paint the treatment....and....

Today I worked hard on the wife's car.

Hand wash
Clay barred with Meguiars Clay bar kit
Hand polished with Turtle Wax Profession grade polish
Hand waxwed with Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0

Looks like glass.

Your thoughts on the order I did it and anything else?

Brave man using turdle wax polish. I'd pitch that and get some Meguiars Ultimate Compound or some 3M polish since we're talking polishes available at most stores. Maybe TW has changed but too many bad experiences with their products way back when. Not only wasted money but time and sweat.

Just re-apply that wax periodically (monthly?) and you should be good to go for a long time.

Oh give they guy the benefit of the doubt, unless he's juggling 2 jobs, a bunch of kids and multiple wives, he should be able to find a couple hours every couple months for car care and maintenance.

It looks very nice. Longevity is not one of the things NXT 2.0 is known for so use it more often than you had planned on. As mentioned above, monthly is about right.
