LOl like i said she isnt a bad gf but she just doesent understand why Im constantly working on the cars and stuff. But oh well. Oh and yea yaris I know what you mean. Lots of people think that way. Im pretty sure the "once you go synthetic you cant go back rumor" was started by oil change places to keep people from flipflopping.
And at least my gf isnt as bad with cars as her sister is. Only goes to oil change places. (I have offered repeatedly that i would changer her oil for free all she needed to do was get oil and filter) She never does basic checks becuast the last time she went for an oil change her tires were 17psi and she now "wont use that oil place because they yelled at her" she cant install lightbulbs. Broke the door handle off and payed way to much for a car with high miles and no AC
The list just goes on and on with that family. Infact now that im on my rant I remember at time her mom needed a new battery so she went to nappa to buy it. Idk why she didnt have them put it in but she didnt. Came back and asked her husband to do it. He got out his tools and went to work. I asked if he would like some help to witch I was replied "NO!" went inside I was at there house for 3hours. Left for work 2 hours at work (total of 5hours later) I get a call asking if I can help. I had to set the phone down while I laughed a little.
5HOURS FOR A BATTERY INSTAL! Some people just arent gifted with cars. But in his defense he rents houses and does a pretty good job fixing them up.
Anyways you all understand where im coming from. The ideology "if it aint broke dont fix it" is how most people think of car maintinance, and thats why many cars die prematurely.
