Titan FFL-3 vs Pentosin FFL-3

Hello all,

It appears Titan purchased Pentosin a few years back, and now merged the fluids. According to the website Titan FFL-3 is formerly Pentosin FFl-3, yet both are sold, and Pentosin is 50% more than Titan FFL-3.

Can anyone confirm they are the same? I reached out to Titan, pending response.

At least on FCP euro, the Pentosin product are becoming Fuchs, which I think is the same or whatever

Pentosin was purchased by Fuchs a while back I think so not surprising.

Pentosin used to be a solid value for euro motor oil, gear oil and ATF fitments. Seemingly with the recent purchase by Fuchs, the decision for brand differentiation was to jack up the prices of the Pentosin products. When their ATF costs nearly as much as a jug of Pappy Van Winkle's, I'm outta here.

Feedback from Titan is now they are the same fluid, and the Titan Rep posted that Porsche PDK made by ZF, has the approvals of Titan FFL-3, My application. Interesting is often time it's not listed for Porsche approvals in Porsche literatyre, but ZF makes the trans anyway.
