I was peeking a wife’s nearly worn out RT45s and notice a flap a few wires present:

Immediate(this week?) or soon(within month)

Replace them as soon as you can.

If you like General, they have the 365AW all-weather tire out now. If you don't have a lot of money, there are cheaper all-weather tires at Walmart :)

Those are just getting broken in by north east ohio standard. (/sarcasm)

Yes replace as soon as convenient. doubt a week or 3 makes much difference.
More like yesterday….those would be dangerous at speeds over 40mph…..
In the rain.. certainly .. in dry .. not so much.

Costco Michelin sale goes through October according to the sales guy a couple days ago. Website said 9/21 end date but he said it just the first, its normally on for 2.

If for some reason the car has to be driven do not drive in the rain. Those tires would be dangerous.

Depends what kind of driving you do. if never above 25-30 mph with just short trips you could wait...if getting ready to head out on a roadtrip on the interstate I would replace asap. trust me I have seen tires much worse on vehicles....scary what some people drive on.

I am in the same boat with my wife's Subaru Yokohama Geolanders down to slicks.

Was looking at these - big sale if you buy before end of the month - are low end Pirelli's junk?

I got the Pirelli P4s (now called P4 Persist) on closeout from WM and they were a great tire.

OP has his month to source new rubber.

we have put over 15,000 miles in less than a year on our CC2's (mazda cx5 turbo) and they have been great in Montana snow and ice..as well as on the dry twisties.....great tires for sure.
