Costco Tire Balance issue

Nothing against Costco, perhaps they just got a bad batch of weights with poor adhesive and it fell off.

Either way, my issue is resolved.

Tires have 7000 miles on them.

First 7000 miles was vibration free. It was only after rotate balance was the vibration felt. 2nd balance after rotate resolved 95% of the balance. Was noticeable, but ever so slight, but 1 week, later the vibrations are back.

@edyvw,
Sorry, I wasn't clear. We have 1 Costco in town, next closest one os over 70 miles away
Wondering if the rear tires are wearing funky so once they rotated you started feeling it through the front end. Anything through the wheel though or just the seat?

When you walk into the shop if they have loud music playing! Like America's Tire that I've been to a few times they're not focusing on their work; they're just effing off.

Most places hire kids first time job Tire busting and they follow the little balance light.
There is a lot more to balancing a tire before you put air in it and weights ,
you need to look at balance marks on the tire itself as well as the wheel.

Nobody seems to give two squats about that anymore.
When you're racing motorcycles or fast track days , you look at those things very precisely because you don't want any kind of harmonic vibration on those wheels and tires.

Yes take it back and force them to do it right, also call Michelin and ask them to support their tires because the wholesaler is not able to balance them.
They will probably contact them and send them a new set of tires. That's if you're using Michelin?

my two cents here
