I have a dodge diesel with factory 265-70-17 Michellin LTX AS, tires have 70,000 miles with a small amount of tread left, I should get 75,000 pretty easy. These are heavy duty rated E load tires, I do not need the heavy load tires except to hold up the heavy front end. Which of the michellin tires or other brands have you guys been getting the most miles out of for the price. The 17" tires are kinda high.

Load range really doesn't mean squat but the weight of each tire does. 70k out of the michelins is really good for a light duty diesel. I would stick with them myself. You must not tow often or much weight?

I know a few of my customers that have had great luck with the BFG longtrails on their 3/4 tons

No I never tow anything more than a 4 wheelers or lawn mowers, the diesel I really didnt need it was just a want or toy thing. I have been pleased with these tires, a little over 5 yrs old and 70,000 the sidewalls are craking and it is about time for me to replace them.
