I couldn't figure out how to phrase the subject any better, but my question is: How much of a difference does it make if you add a fuel additive after filling the gas tank, as compared to before? Most say to add before in order to ensure it mixes well whereas others say to add to a full tank.
The reason I ask is that I started to experiment with adding TC-W3 two stroke oil to the gas in the Burb, but was only able to get one dose in before I hit a few hiccups. I have now gone two fillups without adding the TC-W3: fuel was low while the wife was driving, so she filled it up; the wife and I picked up the GP from the mechanic and as we drove home with both vehicles, I needed to stop for gas for the GP and the Burb was down to 1/4 tank, so I filled it up as well (pre-measured bottle of TC-W3 was sitting in the garage back at home). I'm wary of adding the TC-W3 to a full tank as it seems it may not mix well on its own and/or a good bit will stick to the inside of the fill tube.
I guess I could add it to a full tank and run the Burb through its paces in an empty field, all in the name of mixing the fuel and TC-W3!
