Maybe Im too city..but I have never been in a situation where I needed a pocket knife when just going out or driving to work. Also glad I dont need to bring or worry about guns in the case someone starts a gunfight on my way to work. Lol

Keys. Billfold. Change. Ball-point pen. Small bottle of chewable 81mg aspirin. Reading glasses. Cheap accurate Timex wristwatch. Small Wenger Esquire pocketknife, attached to Streamlight Nano flashlight. Plus a larger "real" pocketknife that may be anything from an early 2000's Victorinox Soldier, V'nox Climber or Explorer, or one of several folding lockblade knives such as Benchmade Osbourne 943, Griptillian(or Mini Grip), Kershaw Vapor or Vapor II, Opinel (any size from #6 to #10), or even my old Case 3-bladed pattern 47. Lots of other choices for a "real" pocketknife, but those listed here will get me through about 99 days out of 100.

I *should* carry my cell phone, but forget it at least 2 days out of 3. I carry no gun, but lately have developed a real hankerin' for a North American Arms Mini revolver. If nothing else, loaded with ratshot it would be great when working in the yard!

Not really, ~18% of American adults are smokers. 15 post on this thread with 3 tobacco users; so 20%. Pretty close for a small sample size.

I carry a lighter, but I don't smoke.

Normally, Nothing! Other than my clothes.

I don't wear a watch, I make my own time.

No, wallet unless I wish to buy something.
My wallet lives in my Car/Truck.

No Keys, the house is seldom locked.

I do have a small Gerber pocket knife, but that also lives in the car.

I was counting the guy thay listed dip. Lighters are handy to have on hand though. Instant fire when needed.

99% of time when I leave the house I carry these in this config:

Iphone - left breast shirt pocket
Wallet - right back pocket
Chapstick and small SOG Flash1 folder - left front pocket
Keys - left front pocket
S&W M&P 380 - right front pocket

Not that I'm OCD or anything...the only variation is in summer, I mostly wear cargo shorts where Iphone goes in left outside pocket.

The three items that I always have on my person are: Cell phone, Spyderco Paramilitary 2, and my wallet of course.

Optional/in my backpack: Laptop, phone/laptop charger, emergency cash, notepad, pens, pencils, small first aid kit, bottle of water, clif bar and/or some snacks, leatherman multi-tool, bottle/can opener, can of fix-a-flat, my glasses, glowsticks, flashlight, AA batteries, pair of thermals, hand warmers, mylar blanket, small fire extinguisher, USB drive, paracord, lip balm, FRX3 emergency radio, and a lifestraw.

I'm on the road a lot so my ever day "carry" (not usually carried, just left in the car) is probably more extensive than most.

On me:
Watch
keys
Wallet
Iphone5
Either SigSauer P245 or SigSauer P220 depending on what I'm wearing
Extra magazine

+1, same here.

I'm in this boat, too. The less I can carry, the better. Just gets in the way.

keys
wallet
cell phone
gun and extra ammunition (snub nose Smith & Wesson revolver most days)
knife (Spyderco Delica4)

sometimes add:
Def-Tech police issue pepper spray
Surefire flash light

I actually go through a mental checklist and pat down all my pockets as I make my way out the door to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. It ticks me off to get down the road and realize I forgot something.

on my person:
keys
phone (HTC-ONE)
buck knife
ink pen
at least $1.00 in change, i like to pay in exact change

Ruger SR9C in a super tuck holster (most days), I carry no extra mags, if i need more than 10+1 i shouldn't be in that fight.

In my truck:
350 piece mechanic tool set.
floor jack (way better than trying to use a car jack)
Tarp
ratchet straps
Tow strap
Rand Mcnally
extra ink pens
tire pressure guage
Napkins
