Thicker oil to help with blue smoke at start up?

Another vote for valve stem seals. If you do replace the PCV valve get a Ford Motorcraft part and not some after market PCV valve. I had a few occasions where oil use went up with an aftermarket PCV valve. A simple change to the Motorcraft part corrected the problem.

I changed the pcv valve, and found out the one in there was completely hollow. How about that?
