Silicon was a little high last time, so it's nice to see that element back on the right track here. Not that we were too
worried about the silicon, to be honest. Even with the higher reading last time, wear metals looked fine, so there was no
evidence that the silicon was abrasive. Wear metals continue to look good here, even with the longer run. The viscosity
was just a little thick, but insolubles read low, so we don't think excessive heat is causing any viscosity problems. The
TBN was fine at 2.1. Go ahead and try up to about 21,000 miles next time. Nice report!
