Stabilizer needed for 5-6 month storage?

I'd put it in, along with a UCL. Add both at the gas station, fill it up, drive half an hour or more and put it way. That has been part of the routine for storing my son's car prior to his deployments for the last 13 years.

Late chime in. Yes. I sit the Mustang 5 months. I drive it over the state line to fill with no ethanol fuel (and stabilizer) and the drive back is plenty long enough to have it in the system.

If your only concern is winter storage it's not worth the cost and hassle, just add some Lucas ethanol fuel stabilizer and fahgeddaboutit.

If I need E0, its usually in quantities of 10+ gallons for my boats. I really do not want to pay $8-10 a gallon for E0 in small quantities.
