Basically there was one behind these businesses. Picture row homes but they are businesses on the ground floor.
There was a parking lot which accumulated abandoned cars. We used it to go to the said businesses and park there.
People were so careless I think they often assumed cars were abandoned and blocked them in. Assuming they don’t move. This happened to us in the ‘06 LS.
The lot was redone, and there are now signs with QR codes to pay for parking. It was not done by the township, it’s private.
A couple questions….obviously there’s a service by which people can enter plate and buy parking just like a municipality does.
Does the service provide enforcement? Or maybe I’m mistaken, maybe the town enforces it and takes a cut?
It’s fascinating that control is no longer by gate, it’s by apps.
Seems like it could be a win for the lot owner. Before people were using it for free and it had a trashy appearance.
