the "B" at the end of the part number most likely indicated that's the 2nd revision of the part.

I wanted to update this thread. I am sad to report that my tensioner started making abnormal noises shortly after I installed the new belt. I have ordered a new one. I guess if it leaks just replace it and get it over with.

The new tensioner is Dayco brand, purchased for about $73 on Rock Auto. We'll see how long it lasts. The funky noises are gone now. The original tensioner had developed play in the pivot, though, the pulley bearing was fine. It was a greasy mess, but didn't foul up the belt. So, learn from my error. Replace the thing if it leaks.
