I would want to stay with synthetic if your oil temp is getting up near 300 degrees. Im sure defy does a great job, but for high oil temperatures i would want a synthetic in that beast!
I love the 2v modular. they always sound like they are way faster than they are! I had and 02 gt with a p1sc procharger a few years ago. it was a fun car, and unbelievably reliable. I ran 5w20 motorcraft even under boost. I never had an issue! It's a tough engine! It is only picky about 1 thing...the oil filter. mine only sounded quiet with a FL820S.
