Shelf life of Zerex G05?

Got a couple gallons of Zerex G05 that I didn't use. I was planning on putting it on the shelf until I get ready to use it a couple years down the road. I have read that G05 is good for 5 years. Is that starting at the time of formulation, or starting at the time of mixing and adding to the cooling system? Thanks in advance.

Good until the plastic jug fails-which seems to be a little longer indoors in cool conditons, 7-8 years in my experience.

I'm thinking it's longer than that. The change interval for my car which uses it is 10 years or 150k. I wouldn't really worry about it.

If unopened it can last indefinitely. If opened it depends on the formula but 3~5yrs (maybe a little longer like 8yrs, for some formulas)

Opened or sealed, it won't go bad just sitting on the shelf. I have used opened and mixed coolant many years after mixing.
