Check out Olympic's super-long OCI's in the UOA section on this oil.

Literally half the price of GC. $4/L vs. $8/L CAD. But it just doesn't have the panache of GC.....nobody's writing poems about it.

Maybe if we sent a case to Pscholte.

Hmmm...

I wonder if they sell that at the "Duty Free?"

I wonder if I can only take one bottle per person/per day like with liquor?

I'd try Pentosin 0w30 & 5w40, Lubro-Moly 0w40 & 5w40, & BC 5w40 (I can find it in my area). I'd do a UOA on each and compare it with my UOA of M1 0w40 and then pick the best one.

BUT before all that as OH21 said, I'll put aluminum hats on each of my GC Green bottles.

GC....Good...
PP....Good...
Redline....Good...
Amsoil....Amsoil says Good...been okay for me when I used it...probably not as good as they say....GC and PP smoother..
Many others on here that people like...these I have had good luck with..

I'm seriously thinking about returning to Dino after 15+ synthetic years: Castrol GTX

Interestingly, that's the oil I always used before the switch to synth so long ago.

and pay upwards of 15$ per quart of Mobil 1, 50% income tax, VAT, and even higher petrol prices.

In the States we have a wonderful assortment of syn and dino oils at very reasonable cost relative to across the Atlantic. My biggest dilemna with a 2nd choice lube? There are too many premium options. Personally, I like GC because its PAO/Ester stocked and from Duetchland ... latter not withstanding any subjectivity

"2nd Choice(s)" Redline, Delvac1, M1 0W40, Any Street Amsoil except Series 7500. The choices are perplexing to me.
